Refund & Distance-Sales Terms

This page explains pre-contractual information, withdrawal, cancellation and refund rules for LinkSosyal plan subscriptions; the rules for products listed by creators on their bio pages are in section 1. The mandatory provisions of Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection (“TKHK”), the Distance Contracts Regulation (“MSY”) and related legislation are reserved.

1. Seller, Intermediary and Applicable Law

For products listed on bio pages, the seller is the creator who owns the page. LinkSosyal only lists these products as a hosting provider; it is not a party to the sale, does not collect payments and does not intermediate payment collection. Payment, delivery, withdrawal and refund requests for these products must go directly to the seller.

For LinkSosyal plan subscriptions (Creator, Pro, Business) the seller is LinkSosyal; the following sections apply to those subscriptions.

2. Pre-Contractual Information and Order Confirmation

Before the distance contract is concluded, under MSY arts. 5 and 6 you are informed about the main characteristics of the goods/service, the identity and contact details of the seller and any intermediary, the total price including all taxes, delivery and performance information, your withdrawal rights, and the cases in which withdrawal is not available. This information is provided in the purchase flow and on product pages.

Immediately before confirming the order you are clearly informed that you are under a payment obligation, and your receipt of the pre-contractual information is confirmed.

The burden of proving that pre-contractual information was given and the order confirmed lies with the seller/intermediary.

3. Withdrawal Right for Digital Content

Under MSY art. 15/1-(ğ), the withdrawal right cannot be exercised for contracts relating to services performed immediately in electronic form or intangible goods delivered to the consumer immediately. As digital content/access is delivered immediately after purchase, there is no right of withdrawal for these products.

Under MSY art. 15/1-(e), withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for books, digital content and computer consumables supplied on a tangible medium where their protective elements have been opened.

Before these exceptions apply, you are informed that you have no withdrawal right and of the conditions under which it is lost.

Where digital content is never delivered, cannot be delivered, or is defective, the withdrawal exceptions do not remove your rights in respect of defect (see section 6).

4. Withdrawal Right for Physical Products

For physical products, under MSY art. 9 you have fourteen days from delivery to withdraw without giving any reason and without paying a penalty. You may also withdraw before delivery.

On withdrawal, you must return the goods to the seller within fourteen days of notifying it. The carrier and cost arrangements for the return are stated in the seller's pre-contractual information.

The seller refunds all payments collected, including the delivery costs of the goods where applicable, within fourteen days of the withdrawal notice reaching it.

The burden of proving timely withdrawal lies with the consumer; the burden of proving that the goods were returned lies with the seller.

5. Subscription Refunds

For paid subscriptions you have a fourteen-day withdrawal right under MSY art. 9. However, under MSY art. 15/1-(h), the right cannot be exercised for services whose performance began with your consent before the withdrawal period expired; starting to use the subscription actively may fall within this.

For an annual subscription, if you cancel within the first fourteen days without meaningful usage, the remaining amount is refunded. End-of-period cancellations keep access until the period ends; auto-renewal can be turned off.

No refund may be made where the service is terminated for breach.

6. Defective Goods and Services

If the delivered product or service is defective, under TKHK arts. 8-14 you may choose free repair, replacement with a non-defective equivalent, a proportional price reduction, or rescission of the contract. Costs arising from your choice of remedy are borne by the seller.

If you contact LinkSosyal about a defective product/content, the request is forwarded to the seller-creator.

7. Refund Process

  • Send your request via merhaba@linksosyal.com or the in-store refund flow.
  • Upon approval, the payment is refunded through the payment service provider that collected it, to the original card/account, within fourteen days at the latest.
  • Refund records are reflected in e-Arşiv invoices; the refund invoice is e-mailed to you. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the retention periods required by legislation.
  • Access to the relevant product may be suspended until the refund is completed.

8. Exclusions and Special Cases

Withdrawal cannot be exercised for goods made to the consumer's specifications or personal needs, goods liable to deteriorate rapidly, and the other contracts listed in MSY art. 15; such cases are clearly stated on the product page before purchase.

For promotional, discounted or gift-code sales, refunds are made on the actual amount paid.

9. Dispute Resolution

If your request is not resolved, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee within the current monetary limits, use consumer mediation, or bring proceedings before the consumer courts. The competent bodies are determined by the current monetary limits announced by the Ministry of Trade.
